What You’ll Need
• A working vehicle with a charged battery.
• A set of jumper cables. Make sure the Thickness of cables is good should be rated at least 1000amps or more for quick. Jump start.
• A safe location away from traffic.
Steps to Jump-Start Your Car
- Park Both Vehicles Safely
- Position the vehicles so that their batteries are within reach of the jumper cables.
- Turn off both vehicles completely, including lights and accessories.
- Connect the Jumper Cables
•Red Cable: Connect one red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the dead battery.
Attach the other red clamp to the positive (+) terminal of the working battery.
• Black Cable: Connect one black clamp to the negative (-) terminal of the working battery.
Attach the other black clamp to an unpainted metal surface on the car with the dead battery (e.g., a bolt on the engine block). Avoid connecting it to the dead battery. - Start the Working Car
• Turn on the car with the good battery and let it run for a few minutes. This charges the dead battery. - Start the Dead Car
• Try starting the car with the dead battery. If it doesn’t start, wait a few more minutes and try again. - Remove the Cables in Reverse Order
• Disconnect the black cable from the metal surface first.
• Then remove the black cable from the negative terminal of the working battery.
• Remove the red cable from the positive terminal of the working battery.
• Finally, remove the red cable from the positive terminal of the dead battery. - Let the Car Run
• Let the jump-started car run for at least 15-20 minutes to recharge its battery.

• Ensure the jumper cables do not touch each other while connected to the batteries.
• Never jump-start a frozen or leaking battery; it could explode.
